 | During the Christmas season, our Stoneybrook family was challenged to CONSPIRE to celebrate Christmas a little different. As the Magi gave gifts to Jesus, so should we. Jesus told us how to give Him gifts in Matthew 25:40 when he said, "whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of mine, you did for me.
Jesus made it clear, if you reach out to someone in need, you are reaching out to Him.
At Christmas we were challenged to CONSPIRE to spend less on ourselves and give more to someone in need.
As a new year begins, we are challenged to CONSPIRE again - not just in our gifts to Jesus, but in our daily walk with Him.
| | CONSPIRE TO WORSHIP God is worthy of our praise (1 Chronicles 16:25). Each week we gather to lift our voices in worship, to remember Jesus around the Lord's table, to pray. Is worship a part of your walk with Christ?
In 2011, CONSPIRE to make worship a priority.
| | CONSPIRE TO SERVE If you are a Christian, you are a part of the Body of Christ, the Church (1 Corinthians 12:27). The church is the instrument God uses to get His work done. Are you a part of that work?
In 2011, CONSPIRE to Serve.
| | CONSPIRE TO SHARE As followers of Jesus, we possess the key to life. Jesus' sacrifice on the cross paid the price for the sin that separates us from God. We must share that wonderful news with people around us. Without it they are lost (Romans 1:16-17).
In 2011, CONSPIRE to Share.
| | CONSPIRE TO GROW When we become a Christian we start out as spiritual infants, familiar with only the basics, the milk of the gospel. Like any infant, we must grow to stay healthy (Ephesians 4:11-16). Growth happens when we read, study and meditate upon God's Word. It also happens as we develop relationships with our spiritual family.
In 2011, CONSPIRE to Grow.
| | CONSPIRE TO GIVE Giving to those in need is like giving directly to Jesus (Matthew 25:40). Giving to the Body of Christ provides a way for us to worship and helps provide needed resources for the Kingdom (1 Corinthians 16:2). God has always called his people to give a portion of what they have been blessed with, back to Him.
In 2011, CONSPIRE to Give.
